In all our projects we pay particular attention to the architectural features of the building, particularly those related to Maltese limestone.

The Gebla tal-Gidra wall is part of the Maltese building trade tradition. The stone is not cut but made from many strokes. The Ta’ Kerċem Primary School, built in 1921, includes this beautiful feature. As part of the extensive refurbishment project of the school, which also includes the restoration of the entire building facades, we are paying particular attention to this feature as well. We are replacing the decaying Gebla tal-Gidra stone with new ones, crafted by traditional Maltese builders.
