The Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools (FTS) developed two new childcare centres within the precincts of the new Msida Primary School and the new Victoria Primary School.  Both centres will be operated by Government through the Foundation for Educational Services (FES).

The centres are equipped with the latest play and recreational facilities and include indoor and outdoor play areas, kitchens to prepare meals for the children, sanitary facilities, and quiet areas where the children may rest and sleep.  These projects also include administrative offices for the management of the childcare centres.  Although the childcare centres are within the respective schools’ precincts, they are completely separate from the schools’ buildings.

The Msida childcare centre was executed by FTS and financed under the NextGenerationEU Programmes through the Recovery and Resilience Fund of Malta.

The Victoria childcare centre was also executed by FTS and financed by national funds.
