FTS built a new primary school for about 650 students at Qawra which is complementing the St. Paul’s Bay Primary School. The new school includes a childcare centre and a kindergarten. The new school has 39 classrooms, a hall that can be used for different purposes and sports facilities outside, as well as inside. The size of the whole school is 9,500 square meters. The gym and sports facilities also have separate entrances for the community to use after school hours. The school classrooms are all equipped with air-conditioning and interactive whiteboards. Lifts were installed in the school and the building is fully accessible to all. Beneath the school there is a car park, spread on two floors, with a floor area of more than 15,000 square meters and accommodating about 400 cars. This project was done with an investment of approximately €13,000,000.
