The Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools (FTS) is collaborating with K9 Search & Rescue Malta by providing access to its construction sites for search and rescue training purposes.
K9 Search & Rescue Malta is a non-governmental organisation set up in 2018 with the aim of training dogs for search and rescue purposes. Primarily, the NGO assists the Civil Protection Department and the Police during search and rescue missions by providing trained canine teams.
Since an important element of training requires search and rescue on all types of terrain, FTS is assisting the NGO with a safe access to its construction sites for canine training purposes.
The first training session at a construction site managed by the FTS was held on Saturday 23rd July 2022 at the new St. Nicholas College Rabat (Malta) Primary School.
The collaboration with K9 Search & Rescue is part of the FTS’s corporate social responsibility.
