The Minister for Education, Youth, Sport, Research and Innovation, the Hon. Dr Clifton Grima, inaugurated the new synthetic turf sports ground at St. George Preca College Ħamrun Secondary School, known as The Lyceum.
This project, carried out by FTS with an investment of approximately €200,000, is part of a larger investment in sports facilities carried out by FTS in 2025. During 2025, FTS carried out refurbishment projects in the recreational spaces in several schools. These projects were carried out with an investment of approximately €1,341,535. The Ħamrun project was one of the large projects carried out in sports facilities in 2025.
