The Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools (FTS) is governed by a Board chaired by a Chairperson. The Chairperson and Board Members are appointed for a fixed term by the Minister responsible for education.

The day-to-day operations of FTS are led by the Chief Executive Officer, who is supported by a dedicated management team.

FTS employs a team of approximately 40 full-time staff, covering a wide range of functions including architectural design, engineering services, project management, health and safety, quantity surveying, procurement, finance, and corporate services.

In view of its ambitious capital investment programme, FTS operates with financing mechanisms that extend beyond central government funding. Since its early years, the Foundation has secured long-term loan facilities from commercial banks at favourable interest rates, enabling it to accelerate the delivery of its approved capital projects.

Additionally, FTS has been proactive in securing European Union funds to support and enhance its projects over the years.
